Roe Body Hair and Nipples Mod
Ever felt that male roes were missing a little something?
Wanted to be a fuzzy muscular giant in the game but couldn’t because Square is afraid of body hair?
Thanks to FFXIV TexTools 2, now you can!
This mod contains several body hair options for male roes, including an editable PSD file to customize your own body texture.
To install this mod, you must have FFXIV TexTools 2 installed and set up. You can download it here – https://www.ff14mods.com/ffxiv-textools/
IMPORTANT: FFXIV TexTools 2 devs recommend disabling mods before a big patch. So make sure you disable the mod before any big update, and then enable it again after the game updates.
Also:
This mod affects ALL male roes, including both clans.
Because I can’t seem the edit the specular map (if there is any), the body hair will appear very bright with a white sheen when under intense light in the game.
You can only select one option.
You can only change the color of the body hair by using the included PSD file, but it may look odd with roes with different skin tones.
How to Install
Once you’ve set up TexTools, follow these steps:
1. Open FFXIV TexTools 2
2. Select Body under the Character category in the Textures section on the left.
3. Choose Roegadyn Male in the drop down menu under the Texture tab.
4. Export both the Diffuse map and Normal map as DDS.
5. Go to your FFXIV TexTools installation folder and locate the exported textures under Saved/Character/Body
6. Replace the exported textures with my mod OR replace them with the ones you created with the PSD file.
7. Select Import for both the Diffuse map and the Normal Map. You should be able to see the new textures in the TextTools Window.
Before booting up the game, check your Mod List in FFXIV TexTools to see if they’re enabled. Go to your mod list by selecting Mod List under Mods (top left of the window)
The green outline means they’re enabled.
How to Uninstall
1. Open FFXIV Tools 2
2. Select Body under the Character category in the Textures section on the left.
3. Choose Roegadyn Male in the drop down menu under the Texture tab.
4. Disable both the Diffuse and Normal map.
OR
1. Open FFXIV Tools 2
2. Go to your mod list by selecting Mod List under Mods (top left of the window).
3. Inside the new window that popped up, go to the left and select Character, then Body.
4. Select each texture and click on Disable. There should be a red outline to indicate they’re disabled.
