KICOTEK Accessories and Apparel

Just a pack I’ll be updating with various additions of KICOTEK styled apparel. A bonus pack for the KICOTEK Series that’ll allow me to just have all related apparel and accessories I make for KICOTEK to be in just one nice neat file!

KICOTEK
Objects made under Kicotek are guaranteed to be made from fully salvaged allagan and magitek parts. Fully repurposed, reused, and compatible with other machinations that use the very same parts. Despite the salvaged nature of the parts these objects are often exceptionally functional with only a few minor bugs or faults that should never come back to harm the user when used correctly. Anyone skilled with allagan or magitek equipment will have minor troubles properly understanding how these objects work initially but an expert will likely figure it all out with ease. However, due to the nature of the creator of Kicotek, Kicotek equipment is not quite widespread as of now since the maker does not and can not mass produce them.

KICOTEK Silver Spectacle Scanner Prototype Model 1 Integration ( KCT-SSSP1I )
The KCT-SSSP1I is a pair of glasses with an integrated scanner for Aether, Vitals, Overall Status, and Heart Rate. This scanner is currently the first prototype from KICOTEK and the readouts from it are useful for assessing the overall condition of a subject you are currently looking at but are unable to give direct specifics or numbers. It is also incapable of being used to scan the wearer’s own condition.

It is attuned and calibrated specifically for humanoid targets but can be modified for more beastial targets as well. Yet due to the extremely small housing for the device that displays its information, adjustments of it require extremely fine tools. The small and insufficient housing also prevents it from being able to fully filter potential disruptors such as the wearer’s own conditions if they are particularly strong in any of the readouts. The heart rate display in particular is notorious for displaying the wearer’s pace as opposed to the targets.

Despite the potential failings of its small housing, the portability and comfortability makes these glasses invaluable to home front healers and menders alike and its looks allow patients to feel less unnerved by those using this type of conditional scanning with the bulkier models typically sparking fear instead.

KICOTEK Model Tactical P2 Integration Series ( KCT-MTP2I-A | KCT-MTP2I-B | KCT-MTP2I-C )
The KCT-MTP2I Series is a heavy modification on an already known and distributed set of combat apparel with KICOTEK adding in their own P2 model of scanner which comes with additional functionality such as.

-Setting the target of the device’s scan
-A better filtration of scanned criteria
-A much harder to remember designation

With these changes and the larger housing the scanner is much more capable of a more accurate readout with less bleed in from the user’s own condition when trying to see another subjects Vitals, Aether, or Overall Status. Despite this the heart read out is still notorious for displaying the user’s own heart rate regardless of the set target and has lead many adopters of this technology to start believing it to be intentional by KICOTEK instead of a failing.

KICOTEK Model Tactical P2 Integration w/ Iron Jaw Augmentation ( KCT-MTP2I-C-IJA )[KicoTek “SEJA”]
The KCT-MTP2I-C was given an additional augmentation option, an iron jaw, to better protect the full head in combat heavy areas of use. Despite this, many dislike the feeling of the iron jaw and often find it preferable to simply go without the additional weight and discomfort. The models extremely strained designation has also garnered much disdain for those that need to refer to it specifically and has eventually been given the shorthand “KicoTek SEJA” to help with such logistical issues.

However, Hrothgars have noted no such feeling of discomfort when wearing it and are typically the primary users of this variation of the KCT-MTP2I-C with the size of the non-variant often being considered less then ideal by this race. Hrothgars who use this variant have also noticed a significant increase in target intimidation which, given its combat focused design, has been seen as highly beneficial. Hrothgar have also noted regularly that the iron jaw helps greatly with eating extremely low quality war rations and other painful to eat things, it does not improve the flavor of such things however.

KICOTEK Prototype Arm Augmentation and Prosthesis ( KCT-PRT-A )
The KCT-PRT-A is a combination arm augment and prosthesis working for both roles whenever needed. This means users do not need to be missing an arm to actually use and benefit from the device while those missing one can also make use of it… albeit at a slightly diminished function for the sake of compatibility.

The user is meant to put their entire arm into it like a sleeve before flexing their hand entirely out causing the device to seal itself against the user’s shoulder. This seal has been tested thoroughly and is impossible to undo outside of the user deciding for it to unseal through the devices own function… or complete loss of all contact points it has to hold onto. This has been considered a blessing with a curse as dismembered limbs stuck inside discarded or otherwise abandoned variants of this device have been notoriously difficult to get out if a scavenger wishes to use a “second hand” find of the KCT-PRT-A.

The model also comes with the ability to emergency shut down its servo’s in the small cases where it decides to start bending in the wrong direction from user misuse. While unnecessary when used as a prosthesis, those using it as an augment have expressed discomfort with the knowledge that the device can even bend the wrong way at all.

Also do be aware that some hairstyles on Viera do clip through the back shroud of the hoods as well… I really can’t do to much to fix that unfortunately unless you want to go bald
