Endwalker Artifact Armor Refits (TBSE)
This has been sitting waiting to be released for some time now.
This is a collection of refits of most (not all) Endwalker AF gear to TBSE. The refits range from major changes (SMN) to simple upscales (DNC)
The BRD upscale was done by Thancred, with a few tweaks by me afterwards. Please visit theif you are looking for any commission work. They are stellar at upscales and any number of other things. Top notch modder and I cannot recommend them enough. All I did after was a few tweaks here and there to suit my own tastes.
Thusly the list:
PLD: Refit of chest to TBSE. Removed the front plate flaps, re-modeled the torso to be more flattering, if less realistic
WAR: Upscale of chest, removal of one shoulder. Optional pants refit with mild bulge and butt as well as lowered waist
DRK: No change, however may revisit
GNB: No Change, however may revisit. A refit of the Blinder for miqo’te is included; mirrors to the opposite eye and fits it closer to the face. May be some slight clipping on the nose depending on face/nose combo.
WHM: Upscale of chest, sleeve removal, much skirt frill removal, changed the neck to be similar to the female version.
SCH: No change, no changes planned. Edit of the gloves included to show hands (TBSE hands)
AST: Upscale of chest
SGE: No change, no changes planned.
MNK: Upscale of chest. Tattoo included.
DRG: Upscale of chest. Removal of weird front flap things. Removal of sleeves. May revisit gloves
NIN: Upscale of chest, removal of chainmail and replaced with TBSE skin
SAM: Hyur and Miqo’te ONLY!* Upscale and removal of innermost shirt/collar to show some skin
RPR: Upscale of chest. No further edits planned
BRD: Hyur, Miqo’te, and Viera ONLY* Refit done by Thancred. Upscale with a bit more chest showing. Removal of lute. May make further tweaks.
MCH: Removal of base shirt, replaced with Indigo Summer Top. Upscale of chest. Slight size adjustments on toolbelt kit
MCH Bonus: Optional upscale of lvl 60 Artifact chest to TBSE with slight expansion to exposed chest and removed skirt bag things
DNC: Upscale to chest, no further edits planned
BLM: Upscale of chest. Removed the skirt, removed the sleeves
SMN: Upscale of chest. Removed the left skirt, adjusted the corselet to show more skin around the waist. Made the wings back wings instead of butt wings. Removed the right sleeve. Widened the open collar at the neck. Also included are options to replace the pants (upscaled, waist lowered, slight bulge and butt added) and gloves (total replacement. Removed glove aspect, upscaled, left the metal decoration on the back of the hand. Added an arm cuff on the right glove.)
RDM: No change, no changes planned.
* Generally racial specific models make sense to me. The DRK chest, for example, has a fun tail armor bit for Miqo’te. For some reason, the SAM chest has dedicated meshes for every single race/gender. NFI why. The only reason there is a Hyur version included is that I didn’t realize this till I had already refit the Hyur top.
For BRD, I am not sure why Elezen and Au’ra have dedicated meshes, but there you are, nothing to be done.
Installation:
Choose your own adventure. Everything is offered as an option, so check the box of whatever you feel like installing.
I am currently taking a break from these refits, as they are time consuming and I don’t have any big ideas I want to tackle with them at the moment. However, I will probably return to them after some time. The EW Artifact Armor is some of my favorite gear in the game, and modding them is a real treat for me.
