Lupin Head and Tail Mod – Updated

Vanillia Hrothgar Lupin refit affects the following items: Black usagi kabuto (lupin head), survival shirt (lupin torso and arms), survival halfslops (lupin greaves), and emperor’s new earrings (Hroth lupin tail refit). Use the item converter to port the affected items to something else if you don’t want to use these.

Dyeable Items
Lupin Greaves
*Still researching how to force gear not normally dyeable, dyeable, so for now, only able to get the greaves’ cloth portion working. If you know any guides or tutorials; please always let me know or release something so others can enjoy!

Notes
As always, lupin head will likely clip like hell with any other body gear. I went ahead and did my own refit of the Bloodhempen casting/healing set since I like it so much.
Using the lupin greaves is a must atm as it has the metadata that removes the hrothgar tail that would be poking out underneath the Lupin tail. If you want to wear other legwear, simply go into textools and find the pants that you want to wear; go into the metatdata and uncheck the option, ‘showtail’.
Slowly hacking away at making the Lupin torso, arms, hands, and tail respond to hair dye.
Also, let me know if I made the head too small or not proportional to the torso. I’ve been working on this for a long time and I’ve gotten used to it, so I honestly can’t even tell anymore lol.
I’m no 3d modeler by any means and it took a while to get everything refitted to the vanillia Hrothgar race properly and it still needs a lot of work (especially around the arms and hands). I do like how it looks atm so I decided to go ahead and release it in this state.
I’m very open to feedback, so If you spot something egregious that hasn’t already been stated or know how to make it even better, please let me know!

Update
Quick Update to V1.0.2: Mod file version still read as V1.0.1, despite being the updated v1.0.2. File should now read as v1.0.2.
v1.0.2: Separated arms and hands mesh as arms would clip through long-sleeved clothing. Fixed for my bloodhempen (koppranickel gloves) refit as well.

v1.0.1: Included my old Hroth Lupin Head and my old edited Hroth Lupin head as options. Version 1 is the new one and Version 2 is the old. V1 looks more flush with my torso refit but meshes poorly with armor in-game. Version 2 meshes a bit better with body armor in-game but some facial expressions may not work as properly. VFXs that affect the eyes will not show correctly, i.e., WAR’s Inner Release vfx.

Original Mod Description
You can now live out your dreams as a wolf boi! The head model replaces the cotton coif.
Tails, for races that can use them, will replace copper earrings.
I’ve also included my old Male Miqo’te mod (the middle pc in the screenshot above) in which, you can use the torso, hands, legs, and feet (again, only for male miqo’te). They replace the following: Initiate’s Gown/Cotton Halfgloves, Hempen Breeches, & Cotton Dress Shoes.
All of this gear can be found on vendors in the starter towns or on the Market Board.

Note
I’m not that experienced with modeling software (I used 3ds max for most of this) and I’m only one person. It’s also my first time making a mod for all races. I’ve likely missed something. If you see something off, let me know and I will try to make quick edits to the best of my ability. I will see about getting the tails working for races that do not have tails as well as trying to get body parts working for races that are similar in stature to Lupin like Hyur and maybe Elezen.

Tried it with Hrothgar and Roe but models contort too much for my liking no matter how much I edited the models. These additions will likely come a bit later as I want to break away to try my hand at a Loporrit mod for Lalafells.

Warning
Clipping will likely occur on outfits that have collars or clutter near the neck region. Nothing much can be done about it and will be up to you to find body gear that suits you.
